Mira Lazuli

Mira Lazuli is an Algerian-Québécois sapphic folk artist based in New Orleans. A classically and jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist, Mira fuses French, Mexican, folk and jazz music with heartfelt melodies and driven bass lines. Their music is both a personal healing process and an invitation for listeners to feel, move, and reflect.

Writing and performing are forms of self-therapy for Mira—ways to turn complex emotions into beautiful, danceable songs. Their lyrics explore queer relationships, self-love and emotional growth with raw honesty and poetic sensitivity.
